About Me

My name is Rebecca Fanali and I am a licensed acupuncturist in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I earned a Master's Degree in Acupuncture, and a Master's Certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Glenside, PA, including rigorous training abroad at the Wonkwang University for Traditional Korean Medicine in Iksan, Korea. Here I earned an additional certification of completion in Korean Medicine Field Study. I received a Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, further developing a passion for neurology and mental health. In my practice, fertility support and women's health have become a specialty of mine. Being able to assist women on their pregnancy journey is one of the most rewarding experiences in practicing this medicine.

I first experienced the wonders of acupuncture at 13. I had severe anxiety and a stomach ulcer. At the time, I wasn’t sure where my brother and I were going to live and our future was very uncertain. Our parents, our home, our stability, was all ripped from us with one phone call. Acupuncture saved me, this is no exaggeration. Through Acupuncture, I felt the stress and burdens of my childhood traumas physically leaving my body. Acupuncture allowed myself the freedom to let go of some of those traumas. It allowed the space I needed to acknowledge my feelings, and the security to feel them. It gave me the permission I needed to not carry the weight of the world, and it was through that process that I started my healing journey that continues to this day. Acupuncture medicine is an art. It is gentle and beautiful, and yet powerful medicine. I am forever grateful to East Asian Medicine and those that built the foundation and paved the way for acupuncturists like myself. I am honored to be a conduit for this medicine, and I value that immensely. Regardless of what brings you to Acupuncture, I am honored to be a part of your healing journey!
